Turn three emojis into a story — and level up your communication skills while having fun
Public speaking is one of the most common fears among young adults — yet it remains one of the most valuable skills in today’s job market. Studies show that nearly 60% of university students experience glossophobia, the fear of speaking in public.1 And yet, communication is consistently ranked among the top skills employers look for.2 The challenge isn’t a lack of knowledge — it’s the fear of making mistakes and struggling to organize ideas under pressure.
Story Stage is a real-time multiplayer storytelling game that turns improvisation into a fun way to practice communication skills.
Gather 3–8 friends and let three random emojis spark a 90-second story. The Presenter tells a live story inspired by the emojis, without naming them directly. The Audience listens carefully, then has 30 seconds to guess all three. Research shows that practicing improvisation helps people organize ideas on the fly, adapt their speech, and stay confident even when things don’t go as planned — all without the pressure of a formal setting.
Connect up to 8 players in real-time while staying face-to-face.
Random emoji prompts spark spontaneous storytelling and creativity.
Players guess which emojis appeared in the story and earn points for accuracy.
Both presenter and audience earn points based on their individual performance.
Designed to enhance real-world interaction — the screen supports the experience rather than replacing it.
Perfect for parties, classrooms, corporate team-building, and family gatherings.
