An assistive communication app that allows rehabilitation patients to alert caregivers in just three taps
Brazil alone has more than 18.6 million1 people living with physical disabilities, a number that increases significantly with age. During rehabilitation, patients with acquired motor limitations often struggle to perform basic daily activities independently and rely on caregivers to respond quickly to their needs. This creates a difficult dynamic. Caregivers — often family members rather than trained professionals — feel the need to stay close at all times, worried about missing an urgent request. As a result, both sides lose independence and peace of mind.
What's missing is a reliable and low-effort communication channel designed specifically for this context.
CareBeep addresses this gap with a pictogram-based interface that allows patients to send predefined messages to caregivers in just three taps — eliminating the need for typing or complex navigation. The simplified interaction model helps patients with motor limitations request assistance quickly, while giving caregivers more freedom to move around without constant supervision.
Built natively for the Apple ecosystem, CareBeep integrates Siri automation for hands-free messaging, real-time synchronization via CloudKit, and a privacy-first architecture where personal data remains stored locally on the user's device.
Full support for VoiceOver, Dynamic Type, and high-contrast visuals.
